Kathy focuses on person-centered care ensuring an understanding of the whole person so appropriate programs can be delivered and adjusted when necessary.

  • Initial and Ongoing Assessments- Kathy evaluates functional fitness parameters to understand the baseline of muscular strength, aerobic endurance, flexibility, agility and dynamic balance.

  • Sensory and Cognitive Understanding - Kathy gains an understanding of any sensory deficits or cognitive limitations to ensure all training and education meets the evolving needs of her clients.

  • Daily Activity Review - Kathy gains an understanding of her clients overall lifestyle habits including diet, activity, sleep, and medications and works together with the care team to ensure open communication and appropriate adjustments in her program.

  • Education and Demonstration - First and foremost clients are taught how to fall and how to get up to reduce the chance of serious injury. Personalized tips on how to move and stay safe within their environment are taught, practiced, and incorporated into their daily routine, within their own home.
